FAQ About Connect Groups:

1.  When do Connect Groups Meet?
Answer:  Anytime during the "Third Sunday" weekend of each month.  Exception is Sunday morning when our normal service times are held.

2.  How Do I Know What Connect Groups Are Offered?
Answer:  The list will be in the Sunday Bulletin, Coffee Center, & Website.

 

3.  How Do I Sign Up For a Certain Connect Group?
Answer:  Each Connect Group will have a Leader and contact information.  You can call the leader to get details about that specific Connect Group. 
NOTE:  Some of the Connect groups require a RSVP so they can prepare.

 

4.  Can I Be a Part of More Than One Connect Group?
Answer:  Yes.  There are several groups that you can participate in, but don't feel obligated to be a part of all of them.  It would be impossible to be involved in all Connect Groups. 

 

5.  Do the Connect Groups Cost? 
Answer:  It depends on the group.  For example, the golf group requires you to pay a green fee.  Scrapbooking group and the Cooking group may require a charge for materials and supplies.

 

6.  Do I Have to Participate In the Same Connect Group Each Month?
Answer:  No.  You can be a part of a different group each month.  The choice is yours.

 

7.  Will a Connect Group Leader call me? 
Answer:  No.  It is your responsibility to contact the group leader for the details.

 

8.  What Connect Groups Can Choose From?

Friday Golf Group
Leader:  Gene Longcrier

RSVP REQUIRED by Wednesday, April 13th
Friends Play FREE: Invite a friend who doesn't attend First Assembly of God and they will play for free. Must RSVP to Gene at 479-549-5825 by Wednesday for tee time reservation.  $25 for green fee/cart rental.  *If extremely cold, contact Gene to make sure golf is still scheduled.


Ladies Night Out

RSVP REQUIRED by Wednesday, April 13th 
This month we are going to the Taste of Home Cooking Show. Please note the date: Thursday, April 21st at 6:30pm. It will be held at the High School Fine Arts Building. Cost is $15 for advanced tickets and must be paid to Kim or Amy by Wednesday, April 13th. The Games People Play (Board/Card Games)

Wheels and Meals

Hymn Sing

Following second service - we will gather in Jackson Hall. Bring food for a potluck lunch. We will be celebrating the Easter Season with Resurrection Songs. Contact Becky Glunt if you have any questions @ 238-1873.


Horseback Riding

Leaders:  Cliff & Gayla Byrd
Date & Time: Saturday, April 16 @ 10:00am
Gather for the ride at the Byrd's house, 17242 Martin Pedro Rd. Ride begins at 10am. We will ride to the top of round top and there we will have our 1st speaker of the day. Then we will ride to the river where we will eat lunch (make sure you bring a sack lunch to take out on the trail) and will listen to the second speaker. this is followed by our third speaker which will occur somewhere in between the river and the trail head. Then we will return to the barn for beans and cornbread. Please bring a dessert for this meal. Feel free to come on Friday and camp if you would like.  All mounts must have negative coggins papers.. The Man Zone
